How do I register for classes?

There are several convenient ways to register for swim lessons. You can use our user friendly customer portal by clicking Register and creating an account and selecting available classes right online. If you are unsure as to what level to register in, get in touch and speak to a knowledgeable front desk agent that assists you in placing your child.

How long are swimming lessons?

Our swim lessons are for 30 minutes once per week. You pick the day that works best in your schedule and will come every week and that same time which helps to build stability and consistency for your child.

How many weeks/months will my child need to take swim lessons?

Every child is different and learns at different time intervals. It is also dependant on what the individual swim goal is that you have for your child. Our staff can help determine that goal with you once we see your child's starting point as well.

What if I join swim lessons in the middle of a month?

You can join into swim lessons any time of the month and you will get pro-rated for whatever classes are left in that month.

What happens if I have to miss a class in the month?

Make-up tokens are issued one per month for a missed lesson. Please let staff know when your child will be absent and a token will be issued in your swim account to be used within 30 days of your absence, as long as you are still actively enrolled in swim lessons.

How will I know if my child needs to move up a level?

Swim Evaluations will be done on a monthly basis on the 3rd week of the month. Children will be rated on our unique 3 star swim system. When the child has mastered each skill in the level, they will be advanced to the next level. It is normal for a child to spend a few months in each level in order to fully master all of the skills.

What if I need to end or pause swim lessons?

Kids First Swim requires a written 30 day cancellation notice to end swim lessons. This allows us to fill your spot ahead of time and make any necessary changes to our schedule. This will also allow us proper time to remove you from auto-enroll so you will not be charged for the following month.
